An elderly driver had a lucky escape this morning, when his car crashed into an office building at Woolgoolga.
The 87-year-old was trying to park, when his vehicle suddenly mounted the curb and slammed into the front of an employment agency on Queen Street.
The driver told emergency services, who’d rushed to the scene, it was an accident.
“He said his foot slipped, being wet and his foot slipped from the brake to the accelerator,” said Darren Atkins from Fire and Rescue NSW.
Thankfully, no-one was hurt.
