A man charged over the robbery of a local service station has been refused bail in Taree local court today.
Police allege the 32-year-old threatened an attendant at the Victoria Street business on Sunday, demanding cash.
Yesterday afternoon, officers arrested the man at a Barton Street home.
He will reappear before the court on Monday.
