An epic rivalry played out at Currumbin this weekend, when local firefighters and police went head to head in a fierce game of tug of war.
It wasn’t all fun and games, though – it was all about showing other men how to use their strength for the right reasons for White Ribbon Day.
“The police and the firies, a way to show that as a predominantly male organisation that we support no violence against women.”
The boys in blue beat the firies, who won the event last year.
