Meanwhile, the Minister for the Hunter today announced the controversial, new transport interchange at Wickham has received planning approval.
Gladys Berejiklian said work will begin to create the facility immediately following the truncation of the rail line on Boxing day this year.
But the Minister says the selected contractor will review the design.
