Quirindi Lions junior Sam Carter capped a strong Super Rugby season by being named the ACT Brumbies forward of the year.
The honour comes despite the second-rower missing a month after suffering an ankle injury in his test debut against France in June.
Carter is expected to be named in the Wallabies line-up for the clash against Argentina this weekend.
