A program aimed at helping people make healthy lifestyle choices has been given a leg up with money from the state government.
Tamworth’s Billabong Clubhouse – a non-for-profit organisation, helping those with a mental illness – was given $1500 to develop its healthy lifestyles program.
Aiding over 150 people across the region – the money will be used to develop Tai Chi and walking programs, as well as menu planning lessons.
“Billabong club house provides the way through a very relaxed, very claming environment where they can come and do a variety of program and options available.”
