Moree and Narrabri have been added to the state government’s Water Security for Regions program.
The latest round of funding is worth $80 million and is open to eligible communities, including Tamworth, Liverpool Plains, Glen Innes and Walcha.
$38 million has already been committed to 15 high priority projects in drought-affected regional areas.
