Final designs of the new Skate Park in Coldedale were discussed today in a series of workshops at the Tamworth Youth Centre.
The $500,000 project will form part of the multi-million dollar youth centre facility – which is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Design work of the skate park is being funded by a $100, 000 grant from Tamworth Regional Council, which was allocated three years ago.
Construction company Convic will build the facility and work in collaboration with aboriginal artist Reko Rennie.
