A 33-year-old man has been refused bail, after being charged with attempted murder and aggravated break and enter over a Hunter stabbing.
Dwayne Welsh was arrested yesterday after a major police search in Cessnock.
He’s accused of stabbing a 24-year-old man in the chest at Woodberry earlier this week, and stealing a car at knifepoint at Raymond Terrace.
Welsh is due to reappear in Maitland Local Court on the 6th of August.
