The murder committal hearing of former NRL star, Craig Field began in Lismore Local Court today.
Field is accused of killing Cudgen Creek farmer Kelvin Kane with a single punch outside Kingscliff Beach hotel in July last year.
CCTV footage showing Field, and co-accused Shaun Fathers, minutes before the incident was shown in court today.
More than 20 witnesses will be called on during the hearing, which is expected to last six days.
