Hunter golfers Nathan Green and Nick Flanagan face an uphill battle, if they’re going to earn a place on next year’s PGA Tour.
Both players missed the cut at this week’s Chiquita Classic and now sit well outside the top 50 with two events left to play.
For Flanagan, the disappointment was compounded by the fact he was one of the leading players after round one.
His opening score of 72 included three birdies and an eagle on 18.
Unfortunately his second round 77 saw him miss the cut.
The second tier finals continue on Thursday at the Nationwide Championship.
