A 51-year-old man was winched from bushland at Caves Beach this morning, after coming off his motorbike and breaking his leg.
Using his mobile phone, the man called for help, and paramedics from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter were winched down to treat the man.
He was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
