The wet weather didn’t deter more than 100 kart drivers, from taking part in the opening round of the MTA Kart Tri Series at Wingham.
Practice sessions were held this morning, ahead of the qualifying and main races this afternoon.
Junior and senior drivers from across the state are contesting seven classes this weekend, in a bid to secure the most points.
Round two of the series will be held in August.
