MID NORTH COAST A WINNER IN RDA FUNDING
The Federal Government has announced a major freight project in the Manning Valley will receive $10-million, through the latest round of Regional Development Funding.
The $40-million Northern Gateway Regional Transport Hub will be based at Cundletown near Taree, and provide an interchange for heavy vehicles using the highway.
“It is a big project for the Manning Valley and for the North Coast so the contribution of $10-million from the federal government is really going to kick that along.”
The Thunderbolts Way has also received funding to the tune of $4-million, while $1-million was allocated for a new Surf Lifesaving operational centre at Port Macquarie.
