Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was left injured in a hit and run at Port Macquarie yesterday morning.
At around 5am, a 32-year-old woman was riding south on Park Street in a designated bike lane, when she was struck by a car travelling in the same direction.
The driver spoke briefly to the woman before leaving the scene.
The vehicle is believed to be a small white car, possibly a hatchback, with red number plates.
The driver is described as a caucasian male aged between 17 and 20, with a medium build and brown, curly hair.
