Police have uncovered a crop of 55 cannabis plants worth almost $75,000 on private land in Mulla Creek near Niangala.
63-year-old Weabonga man Keith Leslie Peterson appeared before Tamworth Local Court today, charged with cultivating a prohibited drug and trespassing.
He was granted conditional bail, and will reappear before the court in May.
