SEMINAR TO HELP EMPLOYERS WITH THEIR APPRENTICES

Employers will be given the opportunity to better understand their younger staff thanks to a seminar being held in Coffs Harbour tonight.
It foll0ws news that completion rates for apprenticeships have dropped as low as 45 percent.
“A baby boomer might pick up the phone whereas a gen y might post something on facebook so we’re trying to educate the different generations as to how each other communicates,” says guest speaker and psychologist Danielle Buckley.
The conference is organised by the Federal Government’s Mentoring and Advisory Program.
