Around 120 people were evacuated this morning from the Nestle chocolate factory at Smithtown, north of Kempsey, after a fire broke out.
It’s believed the blaze started in a cocoa hopper – the powder producing large amounts of smoke.
No-one was injured and fire crews were on scene for several hours extinguishing the fire.
