A three day family fishing contest will get underway from Friday at Mylestom near Coffs Harbour.
Named after the late Putt Bennett, a fishing guru in the region, the three day festival attracted almost 700 entries last year, with an even bigger turnout expected this year.
The competition’s aimed at promoting the sport particularly among children.
