Staff and customers at a Palm Beach Subway store feared for their safety last night, when allegedly threatened by a man armed with an iron bar.
Police rushed to Seventh Avenue around 6 o’clock and arrested a 35-year-old local man.
“This is police brutality and I want to go home and have a shower and relax now.”
The suspect was taken to Robina Hospital for stitches to a cut on his head.
He’ll face court later this month on charges of going armed to cause fear and obstructing police.
