Manning Valley duo, Peter Neal and Brian Everingham, have got off to a disappointing start in the New South Wales Rally Championships over the weekend.
They started the race strong, but an unexpected mechanical failure at the end of the third stage pushed them to 11th position.
The result hasn’t deterred the pair, who are confident they can regain ground in the series.
Round two will be held at Bulahdelah on the 11th and 12th of August.
