The Newcastle Jets Youth team has bounced back in the NBN State League, beating Charlestown City 4-1.
The Blues made a bright start, but Mitchell Harper couldn’t find a way past James Fogarty.
A few minutes later, the keeper was the victim of a wayward back-pass and Kane Goodchild made the Jets pay.
The young guns didn’t wait long to reply .. Andrew Hoole’s shot was comfortably controlled and slotted home by Kale Bradley.
Their second came courtesy of Connor Chapman to keep the side on top of the ladder.
