A popular Coffs Harbour radio presenter is trading the Big Banana for Parliament House.
Michael Moffett hosted his last breakfast segment this morning, after 11 years and over two-thousand-five-hundred local shows.
“To be able to see the place grow and to be able to be part of the community. And, you know, this is where local radio really excels. It’s not about ten songs. It’s about getting involved with people and to share their lives is amazing.”
During his time on air, the ‘Moffee in the Morning’ host helped Coffs Harbour get its own Monopoly board and line of beer.
