Waterfront and electrical workers – who maintain and operate machinery, loading coal onto ships – have begun the first industrial action at Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group, in the company’s history.
And it could level up – staff aren’t ruling out walking off the job, as they fight for better conditions.
