Wee Waa Hospital hours extended as community waits for 24/7 service and doctor

It’s the town with the only hospital emergency department that closes in the afternoon… Wee Waa has been facing an uphill battle for some time, to improve services.

But there’s some relief on the way, with extended hours starting in October.

Frustrated locals say it’s a good start, but more needs to be done.
