Country music icon Kasey Chambers has returned to Tamworth – mentoring young stars before taking the stage herself.

Just a week out from the Country Music Festival, today she dropped by the CM-Double-A Academy, sharing her experience with young talent.

Born and bred in the Manning Valley, Rob Douglas joined the Taree bureau in June 2021 after a short career in print media. He joined the Tamworth team in July 2023. Rob graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2016 with a sports journalism degree.
