These men and women have just about seen it all…and boy, do they have some stories to tell.
Tweed police officers fired up the barbecue, for dozens of former boys and girls in blue from the Tweed and Gold Coasts, who got together celebrating Retired Police Officer Day.
A chance to be thanked by current officers for their service…and to share quirky anecdotes from back in the day.
Some of these blokes worked in the force for up to 40 years all across Queensland and New South Wales.
And they agree, once you’re in the police force….you’re an officer forever.
