Water restrictions on the cards for parts of the Mid Coast region, despite heavy rainfall in 2025

Despite weeks of rainfall across the MidCoast, water restrictions haven’t been ruled out for northern parts of the region.

A flood-damaged pipeline connected to the Bootwa dam is understood to have placed greater strain on the region’s existing water infrastructure, but repair works are on track.
