Meals on Wheels volunteers have delivered more than 200 free meals to residents across the Central Coast, as part of ‘taste our meals’ day.
The initiative aims to educate elderly recipients about the importance of eating a balanced diet.
(Having a balanced meal at the end of the day, or at lunch time really makes a difference. The smell, the taste, we all take food for granted, and we forget how important it is for our health)
Each year the not-for-profit organisation delivers almost 150,000 meals across the region.
