Council contemplating adopting House Raising Scheme

Port Macquarie Hastings Council is considering adopting a state government scheme to help residents raise their homes above minimum flood levels.

The discussions coming off the back of new NRMA data, revealing Mid North Coast residents lodged some of the highest numbers of insurance claims in the state this winter.
