Bellingen Shire Council’s economic report card for 2010 has been released.
The statistical overview shows businesses and residents how the area has fared over the past 12 months.
For the fifth year in a row positive population growth has been recorded.
The unemployment rate has fallen by 1.9 per cent to 6.7, while non-residential building approvals have gone up.
The growth in taxable income is at a similar pace to the rest of New South Wales.
