A search for a diver missing for several hours off South West Rocks yesterday had a happy ending, with the 50-year-old man found alive south of Black Rock.
A group of five divers entered the water at about 8:30 in the morning, and the man later became disorientated and was separated from the group.
Coffs Harbour Water Police, Marine Rescue and the Westpac Helicopter joined the search, finding the man unharmed around 3pm.
