The Stockton community has bid a fond farewell to the local surf club’s longest-serving lifesaver, following his death.
Harry ‘Rowley’ Rowlatt joined the service in 1944… among his many achievements, rescuing several people in the 1955 Maitland floods.
Harry Rowlatt was 92.
