AVOCA’S RILEY FITZSIMMONS THROUGH TO SEMI FINALS AT SPRINT CANOE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Central Coast Paddler Riley Fitzsimmons is through the the Semi Finals of the Sprint Canoe World Championships in Portugal.

The Avoca product and crew mate Jordan Wood finished third in their heat of the K2 1000 metre sprint…behind Germany – which included Rio Gold Medalist Marcus Gross.

The pair will race again tonight local time.
