Anxious wait for flood water to recede

There was a tense night on the Central Coast, as evacuation warnings were put in place at waterfront communities, including Tuggerah Lake.

The situation has now been downgraded to a watch and act alert, though many houses around it are still isolated… as those inland are beginning to evaluate the extent of damage to their properties.
