After months of campaigning to secure the seat of Dobell today Labor’s Emma McBride got down to business-she was one of 39 members officially sworn in.
But it wasn’t without some pomp and ceremony as the 45th Parliament was opened.
She joins a group of just 201 women to have ever served in Federal parliament.
