A fire that threatened a worm farm at Teralba is being treated as suspicious.
50 firefighters were called in to battle the blaze yesterday, which scorched more than 20 hectares on the southern side of Cockle Creek.
“A bit of rain over last night and this morning has certainly helped bring the fire under control. There are still a few smouldering logs, and a little bit of fire activity, we expect that may continue for another couple of hours.”
Police investigators attended the scene this morning.
