Central North Rugby Union has announced a new president for the 2015 season.
Tony Byrnes was elected to replace Peter Burke at the recent annual general meeting.
Over the years Byrnes has played for Barraba and is a long time member of the Pirates Rugby Club.
He says his focus will be on building the image of rugby in the North West.
