Police are appealing for witnesses to a suspected domestic violence assault in Port Macquarie.
On Sunday night, a 30-year-old woman was found unconscious suffering head injuries on Bay Street, near the intersection with Ballina Street.
It’s believed an elderly couple witnessed and reported the assault – and police are asking them to make contact again.
