A man who escaped the custody of corrective services in the Illawarra has been arrested in Coffs Harbour.
Officers caught up with the 35-year-old on a train in the early hours of Friday morning, after he was reported missing while performing volunteer duties in the Illawarra on Wednesday.
A 39-year-old woman was also arrested, with the pair taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station where they were charged.
Both are due back in court later today.
