Emergency services say it’s incredible no one was killed in a two vehicle crash at Williamtown this morning.
A hatchback and small truck collided on Medowie Road just before 11 o’clock, blocking traffic in both directions.
A 65-year-old male was trapped for more than an hour, and was eventually airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital suffering serious leg injuries.
Two other people were taken to hospital by road ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
