Terrigal’s Zak Van Dartel has finished second in the Open – Short Course category, in the legendary Coolangatta Gold.
The 21 kilometre event opened with the ski leg, followed by swim and board, then a five and a half kilometre run to the finish.
The 20 year-old will now focus on the Ocean Six Series commencing at Queenscliff next week.
