Novocastrian Motorsport driver Aaren Russell is preparing his car for the Sydney V8 Development round, a meeting which could be his last in the series.
With the category set to undergo major changes in 2016, the locally-owned team may not be able to afford to compete.
“I’m pretty relaxed about it all. Anything can happen in motorsport. If this is the last event we’ll go out on a high.”
Russell is still hoping to earn a co-driver’s seat with a V8 Supercar team next year.
“I’d love to sit here and tell you that I have a main series drive locked away. I’ll hopefully get an enduro drive with a main series team and go from there.”
