Newcastle radio personality John Williams was farewelled in Newcastle today, after losing his battle with motor neurone disease.
Fondly known as Blind Melon, Mr Williams passed away on Saturday, the same day a fundraiser was held for him and his family.
The 33-year-old was an announcer at NewFM for 10 years.
