A 38-year-old man from Wang Wauk, south of Taree, has been charged with cultivating a prohibited drug.
Police were called to a home in the area just after 9 o’clock last night, after a report of an assault between a man and woman.
Officers searched a shed on the property and allegedly found a hydroponic set up with 120 cannabis plants, worth an estimated $240,000.
