A life-size statue of country music star Reg Lindsay was unveiled at East Cessnock Bowling Club today, honouring his contribution to the industry, and the community.
The $55,000 work was created by Victorian sculptor, Tessa Wallis.
“I’m so overwhelmed and it’s such a wonderful feeling after three years, after all the hard work and people helping me to have the statue here.”
Mr Lindsay passed away in 2008.
