The future management and operation of Newcastle Council’s five inland swimming pools will soon be revealed.
A briefing will be held tomorrow night to inform councillors about the tender process and recommend a successful tenderer.
Councillors are then expected to decide the successful tenderer at a meeting on July 22nd.
The council called for submissions in February, and received six applications.
Staff made their own bid in an effort to protect their jobs.
