After being named male swimmer of the meet at the country titles last weekend, Sam McKeown Paterson has broken the 400-metres freestyle record at the Central Coast Zone Championships.
The 13-year-old stopped the clock in four minutes and 22 seconds, to smash the existing mark by 18 seconds.
