The Greens have announced their candidate for the seat of Lyne ahead of the upcoming federal election.
Anti-CSG activist and former Gloucester Mayor, Julie Lyford says she’s up for the challenge.
Ms Lyford is well-known in the region, after spearheading the campaign against AGL’s coal seam gas plans.
Meanwhile, Country Labor’s Peter Alley has announced his intention to re-contest the seat – after an unsuccessful run against The Nationals’ David Gillespie in 2013.
