A family have escaped without injury after their home was destroyed by a fire on the Gold Coast overnight.
It’s believed the fire began around 9pm, with neighbours using garden hoses to battle the flames until fire crews arrived.
Firefighters believe the fire began in the rear of the property.
The family had lived at the home in Broadbeach Waters for more than 35 years.
